A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 55 KNOTS.
SYNOPSIS
A shallow low over the Ligurian Sea is gradually filling up and shifting southeastwards.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE winds 8-16 knots. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic toward the end of the day NE winds 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with rain in places, but also with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder. No significant change in air temperatures.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the open sea of the North and of a part of the Central Adriatic. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate and strong, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force NE winds. Elsewhere along the coast light to moderate E and NE, toward the open sea SE winds. Sea smooth or slight, locally in the North Adriatic up to moderate.
