IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY IN THE OPEN SEA. IN THE OPEN OF THE SOUTH ADRIATIC TILL MIDDAY A RISK OF GUSTS OF SE WINDS 30-40 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending from the northwest toward the Adriatic, while a low over southern Italy is filling up.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 4-12 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic at first still SE and E, in places along the coast NE winds, 4-14, and in the open of the South Adriatic SE 12-24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic at first 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the open sea, but clearing is expected toward the end of the day. Elsewhere mostly clear.
