IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC, TILL THE END OF THE DAY ELSEWHERE AS WELL, SEA UP TO 5. A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS AND FOG IN PLACES.SYNOPSIS
A low over northern Africa is deepening and it will be shifting slowly toward the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Adriatic.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
In the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 12-24, in the Velebit Channel up to 34, strengthening toward the end of the day and during the night to 15-30, in the Velebit Channel up to 40 knots. In the South and in a smaller part of the Central Adriatic SE and E winds 12-24, strengthening in the extreme south to 16-32 knots. Sea increasing to 3-4, in the extreme south, toward the end of the day and during the night in the rest of the Adriatic as well, possibly 4-5. Visibility 5-15, in places today still possibly less than 1 km due to fog, mainly briefly and in the open sea. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly during the night.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
