ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL, DURING THE NIGHT IN THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC AS WELL, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-50, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 70, EASING TOMORROW TILL MIDDAY TO 35-40, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL TO 50 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A low with frontal system is shifting across the Adriatic southeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 14-28, in the Velebit Channel up to 36, easing west of Istria during the night to 6-14 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE and SW winds 6-16, turning during the night to SW and NW and strengthening to 10-20, in the rest of the Central Adriatic to NE up to 25 knots. Sea 2-3, in the North, during the night in the rest of the Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Overcast with rain, showers and thunder in places, particularly in the Central and South Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong NE, locally in the open sea NW, and in the South Adriatic SW winds, easing a little in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic till midday. Sea smooth or slight, in the open up to moderate. Overcast with rain, showers and thunder in places, particularly in the South Adriatic, while partial clearing is expected in the North, then in the Central Adriatic as well.
