A shallow trough with frontal system will be shifting slowly across the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winds 14-26, in places up to 32 knots, easing a little in the extreme north in the evening and turning to NE. Sea increasing to 3-4, in the North Adriatic possibly to 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of brief isolated rain showers with thunder, particularly in the northern part of the Adriatic. A little warmer.
