A field of low pressure over the Adriatic and the central Mediterranean keeps an unsettled weather. It is expected to deepen and its centre to shift over the South Adriatic in the evening and during the night.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
In the North, then in a part of the Central Adriatic, NE, toward the open sea N and NW winds strengthening to 14-28, in the Velebit Channel NE up to 36 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic N and NE winds gradually strengthening to 12-24, turning during the night to SW and SE 16-32 knots. Sea increasing to 3-4, in the open of the North and of a part of the Central Adriatic during the night possibly to 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably and mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and with a risk of thunder, mainly in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to strong NE, toward the open sea N and NW, in the Velebit Channel up to gale force NE winds, easing a little during the forenoon. Elsewhere moderate to strong, at first up to near gale force SE and SW, in the morning mainly SE, gradually easing to light to moderate. Sea slight and moderate, in the open of the North and of a part of the Central Adriatic possibly up to rough. Variably and mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic.
