SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic is gradually weakening, while a broad trough is slowly approaching from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds gradually strengthening to 8-18, during the night up to 22 knots. Sea increasing to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, but partial clearing is expected toward the end of the day.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong, in places toward midday up to near gale force, SE winds. Sea increasing to slight and moderate. Cloud increase with rain in places, mainly in the North and Central Adriatic.
