SYNOPSIS

A broad field of low pressure is slowly filling up. A cold front is expected to shift across the Adriatic and a field of high pressure to intensify from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SW winds 12-22, gradually easing in the afternoon to 8-18 knots and turning to SE, firstly along the coast. Sea 2-3, in the South Adriatic during the forenoon 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and isolated rain showers with thunder. Air temperatures mainly a little lower.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate SE and SW winds turning firstly in the extreme north, till the morning in the greater part of the North Adriatic, to moderate and strong NE. Sea slight, in the open of the northern part increasing up to moderate. Overcast with scattered rain and isolated rain showers with thunder, particularly in the North Adriatic from the middle of the night.
