SYNOPSIS
A broad field of high pressure has intensified over the Adriatic, while a trough with frontal system is expected to approach from the west.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
Calm or NW and SW, in the North Adriatic SE and SW winds, 4-12 knots. In the North Adriatic in the evening SE winds, gradually strengthening to 10-20 knots. Sea 1-2, in the North Adriatic in the evening 2-3. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear with gradual cloud increase in the afternoon.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Wind turning all along the Adriatic to moderate, in places up to fresh SE. Sea slight. Variably and mainly cloudy with rain in places of the North Adriatic till the morning.
