SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure is intensifying gradually over the Adriatic while eastwards a small quantity of wet and unstable air is still circulating in the heights.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 6-12 knots, initially along the coast also SW winds, 4-12 knots, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 16. During the night along the coast and in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic wholy diminishing. Sea 1-2, in the afternoon locally in the Cenral and South Adriatic possibly 2-3. Visibility 20-30 km. Mostly clear, in the afternoon locally along the coast moderate cloud increase and a chanse of a brief shower with thunder. A little warmer.
