A field of raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic and a high level low south of the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW and W, in places along the coast this morning and again during the night NE, 5-15, and in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic NW winds up to 20 knots. In the Velebit Channel NE winds 15-25 knots. Sea 2-3, in the extreme south of the Adriatic and in the Velebit Channel up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear and hot, in the afternoon fair. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy with a chance of rain or isolated rain showers and thunder in the open, in the afternoon along the coast as well.

Light to moderate NW and NE winds. In the Velebit Channel NE winds up to strong. Sea smooth or slight. Mist in places. Mostly clear with some variable cloudiness in the south of the Adriatic at first.
