A CHANCE OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ALONG THE COAST AROUND MIDDAY AND IN THE AFTERNOON, IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC EVEN DURING THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

A field of a little lowered air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a trough with front will be approaching slowly from Western Europe.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or NW and W winds 4-10, in the South Adriatic NW up to 16 knots. In places along the coast of the North Adriatic this morning still NE winds 4-14, in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 18 knots. Sea 1-2, locally in the South Adriatic 2-3. Visibility 10-20, but in places reduced to around 5 km due to mist. Mostly clear, but along the coast around midday and in the afternoon heavier cloud increase and a chance of isolated thundery rain showers.

Calm or light NW winds, only in places of the South Adriatic up to moderate. Sea calm or smooth, in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to slight. Mostly clear with mist here and there. In the North Adriatic variably cloudy with a chance of isolated thundery rain showers.
