A trough with frontal disturbance is slowly shifting north of the Adriatic eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 6-14 knots. In the North Adriatic NE winds 6-14, in the Velebit Channel and locally in the open up to 20 knots, easing later on. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the afternoon variably cloudy with a chance of brief isolated thundery rain showers. Very warm and hot.
