SYNOPSIS

A trough with weakened cold front is slowly shifting over the Adriatic south-eastwards, afterwards the ridge of high will intensify from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW and SW winds, in the North Adriatic also NE winds 6-16 knots. Already in the afternoon in the North Adriatic, at night also in a part of the Central Adriatic NE, in the open also NW winds intensifying to 12-24 knots, in places briefly up to 28 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing to 2-3, in the North Adriatic 2-3, towards the open sea increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy, in places rain or rain showers with thunder.
