A ridge of high is intensifying from the northwest towards the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE wind 10-18, locally in the Velebit Channel up to 25 knots, diminishing and turning to NW wind 8-16 knots. Towards the open sea NW wind 12-22 knots. Sea 2-3, in the afternoon towards the open sea of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 15-25 km. Mostly clear, in the afternoon temporary moderate cloudiness. No significant change in air temperatures.
