SYNOPSIS

A cold front is shifting north of the Adriatic eastwards, and a ridge of high pressure is expected to intensify from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW and W winds 6-16 knots. In the North, during the night in the rest of the Adriatic as well, NE, in the open sea NW winds, 12-22, in the Velebit Channel NE up to 28 knots. Sea 2-3, in the North Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Variably cloudy with a chance of isolated thundery rain showers, mainly in the North Adriatic, while clearing is expected all over the Adriatic during the night.
