A ridge of high pressure is intensifying toward the Adriatic from the west.

NE winds 10-20, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 26, easing toward midday and turning to NW 6-16, in the South Adriatic in the afternoon up to 20, and in the North Adriatic mainly to SW 4-12 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South Adriatic and this morning in the Velebit Channel 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear.

Light to moderate NW winds, in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to fresh, easing during the night and giving way along the coast to light to moderate NE, only in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to strong. Sea smooth or slight, in the extreme south up to moderate. Mostly clear.
