A ridge of high pressure lies over the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NW, in places along the coast SW winds as well, 4-12, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 16, in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 20 knots, easing late in the day. During the night calm or NW, in places along the coast NE winds, 4-8, in the extreme south of the Adriatic NE 8-18 knots. Sea 2-3, during the night mainly 1-2. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Mostly clear. Calm or light NW and NE winds. In the extreme south of the Adriatic at first still moderate to fresh NE winds. In the open of the South Adriatic tomorrow NW winds strengthening to light to moderate. Sea calm or smooth, locally in the South Adriatic up to slight.
