IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC, AND IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL AS WELL, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE, PARTICULARLY DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING, TOWARD THE OPEN SEA IN THE AFTERNOON OF NW WINDS, 35-45 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of the Azores high is intensifying toward the Adriatic from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW, along the coast NE winds, 8-18, and in the open sea of the Central and South Adriatic NW up to 26 knots. During the night NE winds 6-16, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic, and in the Velebit Channel, 12-24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic 3-4. Visibility above 20 km. Clear or fine and fair in places.
