A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 10-22, in the North Adriatic up to 26, in the Velebit Channel up to 30 knots. In the rest of the Adriatic NW, along the coast SW winds as well, 4-10, and during the night NE 5-15 knots. Sea 2-3, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear.

Mostly clear. Light to moderate, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to strong, and in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force NE winds, gradually easing and dying away. Around midday light, only in places up to moderate NW winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate at first.
