A field of raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 6-16, in the South and Central Adriatic in the afternoon up to 20, and along the coast this morning still NE winds 6-16, in the South Adriatic up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear with some clouds in places, mainly in the North Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to moderate NW winds, in the South and Central Adriatic still up to fresh at first. Along the coast during the night wind turning to mainly light NE, only in the extreme south of the Adriatic possibly up to fresh, gradually easing toward the morning. Sea smooth or slight. Fair in places.
