SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending from the European land toward the Adriatic, while a shallow trough over the South Adriatic is slowly filling up.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW and SW, in the Velebit Channel NE winds, 6-14 knots. Sea 1-2. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear and a little warmer, but in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic still variably cloudy with a chance of scattered rain or brief isolated thundery rain showers.
