A trough with cold front is approaching the Adriatic from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or SE, along the coast around midday SW winds, 4-12 knots. In the North Adriatic SE winds 5-15 knots. Sea 1-2, in the North Adriatic possibly up to 3. Visibility 5-15, in places possibly less than 1 km due to fog. In the North Adriatic cloud increase with a little chance of rain, showers and thunder in the afternoon, mainly in the extreme north. Elsewhere fine or fair, along the coast of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic around midday and in the afternoon a very little chance of isolated thundery rain showers.

In the North Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Elsewhere fine or fair. Light, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate, SE winds. In the open sea of the North Adriatic SE winds will turn to SW. Sea smooth, in the North, tomorrow in a part of the Central Adriatic as well, slight.
