SYNOPSIS

A field of raised air pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while a trough with frontal system is approaching from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 4-12, strengthening during the day to 8-18, in the evening to 14-26 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing to 2-3, in the open in the evening to 3-4. Visibility 5-15 km due to mist. Mainly fine or fair, but in the North Adriatic mainly cloudy with scattered rain and with a chance of isolated thundery rain showers.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong SE winds will turn around the middle of the night to SW and it will ease gradually. Sea slight and moderate. Mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder in places.
