WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

N and NW winds 5-15, strengthening south of Istria to 10-20, in the open during the night up to 25 knots. In the Velebit Channel from midday NE winds 10-20 knots. In the South Adriatic at first still SW winds 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open late in the day and during the night 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably or mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder, mainly in the open and in the South Adriatic. Partial clearing is expected in the North Adriatic during the night, but there will be still a chance of isolated thundery rain showers.

Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the open sea and in the southern part of the Adriatic. In the North and along the coast of a part of the Central Adriatic, in the morning elsewhere as well, partial clearing. Light to fresh, in the open sea up to strong, N and NW winds. In the Velebit Channel, during the day in the north of Dalmatia, up to fresh NE winds. Sea slight, in the open up to moderate.
