IN THE OPEN OF THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF N and NW WINDS 35-40 KNOTS, EASING DURING THE FORENOON. IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL IN THE SECOND PART OF THE NIGHT LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45 KNOTS. A CHANCE OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC TODAY.
SYNOPSIS
A field of low pressure over the Adriatic is filling up and the low has moved eastwards.

Mainly NE, during the day NW and W winds, 6-16 knots. In the open sea of the Central and South Adriatic N and NW winds 12-24, easing around midday to 10-18 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Variably cloudy with a chance of isolated thundery rain showers, mainly in the South Adriatic.
