A ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 10-22, in the Velebit Channel up to 30 knots. In the rest of the Adriatic NW and W winds 8-18, during the night NE 8-18, in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 22 knots. Sea 2-3, locally in the North Adriatic up to 4. Visibility 20 km. Fine or fair, but in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy with isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the open sea.
