A CHANCE OF GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS THIS MORNING IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC AND TOMORROW MORNING IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL AND IN THE BAY OF KVARNERIĆ.
SYNOPSIS
A ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NW, along the coast this morning and in the evening NE winds, 4-10, only in places up to 14 knots. In the extreme south of the Adriatic this morning NE winds still 10-20 knots. Sea mainly 1-2, locally up to 3. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, but in the North Adriatic in the afternoon and in the open sea late in the day becoming fair.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Mostly clear with a chance of some clouds in places. Light, only in places up to moderate NE, in the open sea NW winds. South of Istria from the middle of the night light to moderate NE winds, in the Velebit Channel and in the Bay of Kvarnerić tomorrow morning up to fresh. Sea mainly smooth, locally in the North Adriatic up to slight.
