IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL, IN THE AFTERNOON GRADUALLY IN THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS, STRENGTHENING TO 35-45, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 55 KNOTS. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 8-18, gradually strengthening to 12-24, in the Velebit Channel late in the day up to 28 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic E and SE winds strengthening to 8-18, toward the open sea up to 24, gradually turning from midday to NE, in the open sea to NW, in places briefly up to 28 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing toward the open to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Fair, in the South and Central Adriatic mainly cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Moderate to strong NE winds, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force, and toward the open of the South and Central Adriatic strong, in places briefly up to near gale force NW winds. Sea slight and moderate. Mostly clear, but in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, but partial clearing is expected there as well during the night, except in the extreme south.
