In the North and Central Adriatic during the morning a risk of gusts of NE winds, 30-40 knots, in the night 35-50, in the Velebit Channel up to 60. During the night in the South Adriatic a risk of gusts of SE winds, 30-40 knots. A risk of local thunder storms.

SYNOPSIS

A field of little raised air pressure is settled over the Adriatic, while a field of low is being formed over the Ligurian Sea.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and Central Adriatic NE and E winds, 6-16 knots, during the morning locally up to 20, mainly in the Velebit Channel. In the South Adriatic SE and E winds, 6-16 knots, locally up to 20. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with rain in places, a risk of thunder showers, mainly in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic.

In the South Adriatic SE winds, in the North and Central Adriatic NE winds, increasing to moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel locally up to very strong. Sea increasing to slight and moderate.
