In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic local gusts of NE winds 35-45 knots, in the Velebit Channel up to 60 knots. Isolated thunderstorms.
SYNOPSIS
A field of a little raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a shallow low is generating over the Ligurian Sea.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
In the North and Central Adriatic NE and E winds 8-16 knots, increasing till the end of the day to 14-26, in the Velebit Channel up to 32 knots. Elsewhere SE winds 10-18 knots. Sea 2-3, till the end of the day in the North Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with rain in places and with isolated thundery rain showers.

Variably cloudy with local rain and isolated thundery rain showers. In the North and Central moderate to strong NE and E winds, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force. Elsewhere light to moderate SE and SW winds. Sea slight and moderate, in the North Adriatic and in the open sea of the South Adriatic towards Otranto gate locally to moderate. The air temperature a little lower.
