SYNOPSIS

A shallow low with its centre over the Tyrrhenian sea is shifting towards the Central and South Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE wind 12-24, in the Velebit Channel up to 32 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic E and SE winds 10-20 knots, late in the day turning gradually to SW and NW winds. Sea 2-3, in the open sea and in the Velebit Channel 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably and mainly cloudy, in places rain and showers with a chance of thunder, particularly in the South Adriatic.
