SYNOPSIS

A trough with weakened frontal system is shifting over the South Adriatic towards the east.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 12-22, in the Velebit Channel locally up to 25 knots. Elsewhere NW wind 6-14 knots. Sea 2-3, in the Velebit Channel 3-4. Visibility 15-25 km. Fine to fair, in the afternoon with variable cloudiness in places light rain, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic with a chance of a shower with thunder. A little lower air temperatures.

Variably cloudy, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic scattered rain, locally a brief shower with thunder. In the North and along the coast of the Central Adriatic moderate to strong NE wind, elsewhere light to moderate NW, in the South Adriatic SW winds. Sea smooth to slight, in the Velebit Channel and southwards of Porer moderate.
