SYNOPSIS

The trough over the South Adriatic is filling up while a ridge of high is strengthening from the north-west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic mainly NW and NE winds 6-16, in the evening and at night calm or with wind from variable direction up to 10 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic NW wind 6-16, in the open up to 24 knots, ceasing at night to 4-12 knots and along the coast turning to NE wind. Sea 2-3, locally in the open of the South Adriatic 4, calming in the course of the night. Visibility 20 km. Fine to fair.
