IN THE SECOND PART OF THE NIGHT AND IN THE MORNING IN THE OPEN SEA GUSTS OF SE WIND 35-45 KNOTS. IN THE MORNING TOWARDS THE OPEN OF THE NORTH AND CENTRAL ADRIATIC SEA 5.
SYNOPSIS
A ridge of high is spreading from the north over the Adriatic while a trough is filling up in western Mediterranean.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE wind 8-16 knots, till the end of the day intensifying to 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, towards late in the day 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Gradual cloud increase, late in the day locally in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic light rain.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Strong and near gale, in the morning towards the open of the Central Adriatic SE wind of gale force. Along the western coast of Istria and in Kvarner light to moderate NE and E winds. Sea slight and moderate, towards the open sea rough. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably to mainly cloudy, in the North Adriatic scattered rain. A little higher air temperatures.
