SYNOPSIS

A low from western and central Mediterranean is spreading a trough towards the Adriatic where a field of raised air pressure is becoming weaker.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and E winds 15-25, intensifying to 20-30 knots, in the evening in the open SE wind up to 35 knots. Locally along the coast of the North Adriatic NE and E winds 8-18 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open 3-4, intensifying to 3-4, in the open of the North and Central Adriatic 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably and mostly cloudy, in places a risk of rain, mainly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic where in the open there is a risk of showers and thunder.
