A ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW, in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first still S and SW winds, 10-20 knots. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the afternoon NE winds 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, locally in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic at first still up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Gradual clearing, but in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic at first still scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.

In the North Adriatic moderate cloud increase. Elsewhere mostly clear, only in the extreme south of the Adriatic a chance of rain, showers and thunder. Light to fresh NE, locally in the open sea NW winds. Sea smooth or slight.
