SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic is gradually weakening.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Variable winds 4-10 knots. In the extreme south of the Adriatic NE winds 8-16 knots, easing till the end of the day. Sea 1-2, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but gradual cloud increase is expected in the North Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic. Light, toward the open sea of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate SE winds and sea slight, elsewhere smooth. In the North Adriatic light SW winds. Air temperatures a little lower.
