SYNOPSIS
A broad low over the western Mediterranean is extending a trough over the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE winds 12-24, easing in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic to 8-18 knots. North of Istria NE winds strengthening to 12-24 knots. Sea 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. In the North Adriatic light to moderate, in the Velebit Channel up to fresh NE winds. Elsewhere light to moderate SE winds, in the South Adriatic possibly up to strong. SE winds will turn in the open of the Central Adriatic to SW and NW. Sea slight and moderate.
