A field of high pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a low over the Ionian Sea is gradually filling up.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Along the coast NE, toward the open sea NW winds 6-14, in the Velebit Channel up to 22 knots, easing later on. Sea 2-3. Visibility 20-30 km. Mostly clear and a little warmer.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Clear skies. Light to moderate, in places up to fresh NE winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the South Adriatic, toward the Strait of Otranto, up to moderate.
