IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC AROUND THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL TILL THE MORNING UP TO 55 KNOTS. A CHANCE OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while a trough with cold front is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly SE, in the North Adriatic SW winds, 8-18 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the North Adriatic mainly cloudy with rain in places. Gradual heavier cloud increase in the rest of the Adriatic through the day.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mainly moderate SE and SW winds. In the North Adriatic around the middle of the night and in a part of the Central till the morning, moderate to strong NE winds, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force till the morning. Sea smooth or slight, increasing in the North Adriatic up to moderate. Overcast with rain in places, in the North Adriatic with a chance of isolated rain showers and thunder.
