SYNOPSIS
A shallow low over the Adriatic is filling up, while a new one is expected to generate over the Gulf of Genoa.

NW, in places SW winds, 8-18, easing to 4-10 knots. Sea 2-3, calming to 1-2. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly in the south of the Adriatic.

In the North Adriatic cloudy with rain, showers and thunder, elsewhere variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Light SE winds strengthening to moderate and strong, firstly in the north of the Adriatic. Sea smooth, increasing to slight and moderate.
