A ridge of high pressure is spreading from the north over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and N winds 14-24 knots, locally up to 30, towards the open sea up to 35 knots. Sea 3-4, towards the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic 4-5. Visibility more than 20 km. Mostly clear.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear and still a little colder. Strong and near gale NE and N winds, locally towards the open sea of gale force, westwards and northwards of Istria diminishing and turning to light to moderate NW wind. Sea slight and moderate, locally towards the open rough, in the morning gradually calming.
