THE NORTH ADRIATIC: W and NW, in places along the coast NE winds, 6-12 knots. Sea 2-3, in the Velebit Channel in the morning 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Partial clearing. THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC: NW winds 10-20, in the open sea 20-30 knots, easing till the end of the day. Sea 3-4, in the open 4-5, gradually calming toward the end of the day. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, but precipitation expected to die out and cloud to break up in the Central Adriatic.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
In the North Adriatic light to moderate, in the Velebit Channel up to strong NE, elsewhere along the coast light to moderate NE and E winds, and toward the open up to moderate SE. Sea smooth or slight, in the extreme south at first and in the north in the morning, up to moderate. Variably cloudy, still with rain, showers and thunder in the South Adriatic at first.
