A low over the Ligurian Sea will be shifting southeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 15-30, in the Velebit Channel up to 38 knots. Elsewhere SE winds 15-30 knots, easing in the second part of the night and tomorrow morning. Sea 3-4, toward the open 4-5. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 5 km due to rain or mist. Overcast with rain, showers and thunder.

In the North and Central Adriatic moderate to strong, in places up to near gale and gale force, NE, and in the rest of the Adriatic moderate to strong SE winds. Sea slight and moderate, locally toward the open up to rough. Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, brief isolated rain showers and thunder. Air temperatures lower.
