A ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the northwest toward the Adriatic.

NE, toward the open of the Central Adriatic NW winds, 8-16 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 15-25 km. Variably cloudy with sunny spells. No significant change in air temperatures.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force NE winds. Toward the open sea of the South Adriatic in the second part of the night light to moderate SE and E winds. Sea smooth or slight, locally in the North Adriatic up to moderate.
