SYNOPSIS

A new trough with frontal disturbance is slowly approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds gradually strengthening to 4-14 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing slowly late in the day. Visibility 10-20, in places possibly reduced to around 5 km due to mist. Variably cloudy with light rain, only in places.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to moderate SE winds strengthening in places up to fresh and turning in the open sea and in the North Adriatic to SW. Toward midday SE winds further strengthening to moderate and strong and sea increasing to slight, in the North Adriatic up to moderate. A risk of mist in places. Partly clear with some variable cloud and a chance of light scattered rain, mainly in the southern part of the Adriatic.
