LOCAL GUSTS OF SE and SW WINDS 35-45 KNOTS. IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC SEA 4-5 DURING THE NIGHT. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING.
SYNOPSIS
A trough with frontal disturbance is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE and SW winds 10-20, strengthening to 14-28 knots. Sea increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places possibly around 5 km due to mist. Cloud increase with light rain in places, mainly in the wider area of Rijeka.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Air temperatures a little lower. Strong and near gale force SE and SW winds, turning in the North and Central Adriatic tomorrow morning to moderate to strong NW winds. Sea slight and moderate, in the North Adriatic up to rough.
