SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance is shifting eastwards, while a new low with frontal system is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winds strengthening to 15-25 knots. Sea 2-3, till the end of the day 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. No significant change in air temperatures.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder. Strong SE and SW, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to strong, in places up to near gale force NE winds. Sea slight and moderate.
