A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 6-12, south of Istria 8-18, in the open sea of the Central and South Adriatic 12-24 knots. Along the coast in the morning NE winds, mainly 6-16, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic, and in the Velebit Channel at first, still up to 22 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic, and in the Velebit Channel at first, 3-4. Visibility above 20 km. Mostly clear.

Mostly clear with some passing cloud during the night. In the wider area of Rijeka tomorrow more clouds and a little chance of rain. Light to fresh, in the open sea of the Central and South Adriatic up to strong NW winds, easing a little, but strengthening again all along the Adriatic tomorrow before the morning. Along the coast during the night wind will turn to light to moderate, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to fresh, NE.
